MBNA Chester 10K

All abilities, ages and speeds are welcome in the award winning, sell-out MBNA Chester 10K. It's Chester's only city-based 10K, it's the best City Centre 10K in the North West and is the first event of the Chester Triple Series (enter and finish our 10K & Marathon or Metric Marathon in the same year for extra special, extra large and extra gold medal). Join us for what will be an amazing day. The MBNA Chester 10K is a great introductory race for new runners and an ideal stepping stone for runners aiming for a half marathon in the future. The race will also host the England Athletics Age Group Masters 10K Championship adding to an already unforgettable atmosphere. The event boasts a lively city centre start and finish, with a route that passes many of Chester's iconic landmarks. Runners will head north-west out of the City along wide roads allowing runners to rapidly settle into race pace, through the picturesque village of Mollington before returning to the heart of Chester for a spectacular finish on Eastgate Street with all the enthusiasm you could ask for from the Cestrian supporters, under a backdrop of the Eastgate Clock.
