Leave No Trace Trail Marathon and Half Marathon

“Prepare to leave dirty.” That’s the advice that the organizers of Peninsula’s Leave No Trace Trail Half Marathon have for the runners who’ll head into the winding single-track trails of at Camp Manatoc.A smaller-sized event that draws a few hundred runners each year, the Leave No Trace race follows an out-and-back route that starts and finishes at Camp Manatoc, a Boy Scouts of America camp that’s located in the heart of this 51-square-mile national park that takes its name from the river that flows through the middle of its forests and trails, the Cuyahoga River (which means “crooked river”).
