IRONMAN Austria takes place in Klagenfurt on the shores of Worthersee, one of Europe's warmest Alpine lakes. The bike course climbs into the Carinthian Alps before returning to the lakeside, and the run offers mountain scenery throughout. It is one of the most popular IRONMAN events in Europe.
