About the race
The Corrida da Nau has been organized by the Rompe Solas Athletics Club and EventSport with the objective of promoting sports as a means to enhance health and quality of life. This event has received support from the Vila do Conde City Council and Parish Council, as well as the Porto Athletics Association and the AAP Regional Arbitration Council. The Corrida da Nau was first initiated in 1993 by Os Rompe Solas with the aim of organizing a race in an exceptional setting that would become a benchmark in the realm of popular races in Portugal. The event comprises a 10K run and a 5K walk.
